jbrummer
I’m Jan-Michael Brummer, known as jbrummer in the GNOME community.
Most of my work is GNOME development in C & Python: GObject, GLib, GTK4, libadwaita, Blueprint and Meson. Alongside the apps I contribute upstream — to the kernel, BlueZ and PipeWire — and work on postmarketOS device support, from packaging to driver bring-up.
My recurring interests:
- Linux Mobile — Phosh, GNOME Shell Mobile and making real hardware usable
- Mail — EDS/libcamel-based clients that work on desktop and phone
- Platform — Flatpak and xdg-desktop-portal infrastructure
- Bluetooth & audio — BlueZ, PipeWire/WirePlumber, obexd
